Our expert Cleaning team in close cooperation with the Technical Supplies Department completed a full re-insulation of a boiler fit in a container vessel. The vessel suffered a boiler fire and all original insulation was to be removed and renewed. 

Around 400 pieces of Thermatras were used to complete the job. The initial job was requested to be executed by Owners’ appointed subcontractors, but EDR Antwerp Shipyard was certain to do a better job. The entire re-insulation was completed in half of the estimated project time and well under budget.

All was installed with utmost care in close cooperation with suppliers Thermatras and Class.
